The Wonderful World of Windemere

Book 1 of the Legends of Windemere

Isn’t that a beautiful cover? As I’ve said before, I’m new to blogging, so when Dean said he’d help me out to get started, he also recommended a couple of blogs for me to follow. One of them blogs was called Legends of Windemere and is run by author Charles E Yallowitz. He writes and self-publishes his own books and Dean said they’re brilliant. I have to agree with him, having started the first book already–I’m hooked. The characters are very vivid and original and I can picture them all so clearly with their own wee voices as I read. Dean also informed me that there’s 4 of 8 books in the series published already, so I’ve a bit catching up to do, and I do intend to enjoy every minute of it!

What books are you reading at the moment?

  1. Been meaning to read this series for a while, now; the first one is already on my kindle. I reckon that the second book has the best cover, personally, but in truth they’re all pretty good.

Right now, I’m reading Zenn Scarlett, a rather odd YA science fiction novel about a trainee veterinarian who specializes in alien animals. It’s very good, in my opinion; definitely worth a go if you don’t mind reading YA.

    1. Ooh I love YA books–especially science fiction ones. That sounds right up my alley so it does. I’ll put it on my ‘to read’ list. Thanks for the follow, like and for commenting! 🙂
