Welcome back to another edition of the Weekly Word, my weekly update blog post where I inform you guys what I’ve been up to in the past week!
So what have I been up to this week? Quite a bit actually. Since we last spoke, last Monday, I’ve been very busy networking. Since I started getting into reviewing books, and because I read so many books, I want to start doing it more seriously here on WBW. Thanks to a very good friend of mine, I’ve been inspired to send out some emails and make a move on that for the blog. As you might have seen from Friday’s blog post, my review of Storm Weaver by Matt Griffin, that was in association with O’ Brien Press, one of the contacts that I got in touch with, and that were kind enough to reply to me, and hopefully I will be doing a lot more reviews with them in the near future. I also received a very cool opportunity during the week, but unfortunately I don’t think I’m allowed to talk about it here just yet, but keep your eyes peeled here towards the end of May, as there may be something exciting happening here–but hey, I might be able to fill you guys in on that info between now and then. That basically summed up my week in 200 words. I’ve been working for the rest of the week, so I didn’t get up to much else.
I feel like I’ve finally gotten things back into normality here on WBW, and have started posting more regularly. So, in case you missed them, here’s last week’s blog posts again:
I think that’s good going, don’t you? I also have all this week’s blog posts planned out too. Wednesday’s is a little different. It’s a book, but a type of book I’ve never done before here on WBW. As for Friday, I have a few ideas floating around in my notebook, it’s just a matter of picking one (and whether I finish reading my current book or not haha).
I like to keep you guys up to date with what I’m liking at the minute:
Currently Reading: Passenger by Alexandra Bracken & Doctor Strange: Season One OGN (Marvel).
Currently Watching: Endless YouTube videos.
Currently Listening: Blurryface by Twenty-One Pilots (Stressed Out being my favourite track)
See you next week! 😉
