The Weekly Word: NanoPoblano Edition Part 1

Oh, hey–we haven’t seen this in a while!

If you are reading this, then I have survived the first week of NanoPoblano/NaBloPoMo 2016!!!!

Yes, that’s right folks, this marks my 7th daily post as part of NanoPoblano, therefore I have completed my first week! Only 23 more days to go…

The first question I’m asking myself is: How did I find it? Not too bad, if I’m completely honest. I thought I’d be super-stressed out, but so far so good. I thought I’d struggle to find ideas for something to write/blog about everyday, but so far I’ve been having to add things to a list so I know what I’m posting about and on what day. I did something I did and didn’t expect I would do: I made a list/schedule. The only problem now is, I only have the next three days worth of blog posts scheduled, so if you have any ideas for me, throw them my way–I’d love to know what you’d like to see here on the blog. Another thing I love so far about doing NanoPoblano is: I’m getting around to blog posts that I’ve been putting off for an age. I’ve finally got a reason to get around to do them due to needing all the blog post ideas.

This leads me to my next question: Am I going to me able to make it through the whole month? I hope so. I’ve made it this far, and I’ve kind of figured out a routing to this, so once I don’t run out of ideas, books to read, TV shows and movies to watch and review, then I should be good.

I’m surprised at myself, to be honest. I had a week off of the course I’m attending at the moment due to it being a mid-term here in Ireland, but I was working for most of those days, and even though I was working I still managed to make all these blog posts. This surprised me because I’ve often used work in the past as an excuse not to upload. But I have prevailed! *insert evil laugh here*.

My only problem now is, I wish I could put the same enthusiasm I have for blogging here everyday into my art blog and my other art related projects…
