The Weekly Word: Midori Notebooks and Bullet Journaling!

Welcome one, welcome all The Weekly Word here on WBW, the weekly update blog post where I update you all on how my week has been! How has your week been?

What have I been up to this week? Well this week, I got my life organised, to a certain degree. I was introduced on Tuesday to something called the Midori Traveler’s Notebook, or MTN for short. The Midori Traveler’s Notebook is Japanese in origin, and basically is a piece of leather wrapped around two or three notebooks/sketchbooks which are held together with elastic. I’m doing a terrible job of explaining it, so watch this video–it explains everything (apologies for the length of the video):

So I basically spent the week making myself a full-sized Midori Traveler’s Notebook and the passport sized one too.

Also during the week, while researching the MTN, I stumbled across something called bullet journaling. The Bullet Journal is basically a notebook in which you can organise your life by keeping all your to-do lists, and everything else you could possibly think to write down on a piece of paper all in one little notebook. Again, by description of this is terrible, so watch this (short)video about the Bullet Journal, as told by it’s creator:

And that’s basically been my week. I had a job interview on Thursday morning, so fingers crossed about that. I’m hoping to hear back from them by the end of this coming week. I’m gonna leave you guys with some photos of my new MTN’s and my bullet journal.
