The Weekly Word: May 9-15 2016

Hello you lovely people! Welcome back to The Weekly Word, my weekly blog post where I update you on what I got up to during the week.

I had a busy enough week. On Monday I caught up on some much-needed reading. I finished reading the book I was reading, and started a new one. I also read some comics as I had gotten quite behind on them too. Tuesday and Wednesday were equally as busy as each other. I spent these two days preparing blog posts and doing some card making, as I knew I would be going away Friday and Saturday and unable to do them jobs while away. Thursday was a boring day really, I was working and waiting for Friday to come along, so it seemed really long. Finally Friday came along. What was so special about Friday? It was my Granny’s 80th Birthday, that’s what! The family brought her out for a lovely meal and we all had a lovely evening. It was great to see everyone again, as I hadn’t seen a lot of my family since before Christmas! Then on Saturday, my grandparents and I met in the city centre and went for lunch and did some shopping. It was a great day and we even saw some ducks too! That then brings us up to yesterday, Sunday, which as per usual I was working so I didn’t get up to a lot.

That’s pretty much all I have to share with you guys this week! Just a heads up that next week’s The Weekly Word will be Sunday May 22, as I have very special guest post lined up and ready to go up on Monday, so make sure you keep an eye out for that! And that was my week–how was yours? I’d love to know, so let me know in the comments, or link me to your weekly update post, if you happen to write one of those too. I’ll see you guys back here on Wednesday! Until then😉
