The Weekly Word: In Which I Realise I'm Bored!

Welcome back folks to another week here on WeeBitWordy! How goes things for one and all? I have had quite the week, and its great to be finally able to sit down and write. I made several posts last week which were very different and fun, but at the same time I feel like I cheated you guys as I wrote several of them once and set them to be scheduled Wednesday-Friday. As you may know, I participated in the 3 Day Quote Challenge last week, and because I was away in Dublin for a few days, I scheduled all of last week’s posts. It was a fun challenge to do and if you feel like participating, consider yourself tagged, as it’s a great little tag to participate in, and not really much of a challenge!

So, like I said, last week I was away in Dublin for a few days, it was a super short visit, but very fun! I got to see my parents, and my friends and we even went to the beach! The weather here in Ireland has been super-fantastic at the moment we’re all out trying to soak in as much of the sun as we can, because who knows when we might get it again–everyone knows the sun is a rarity in Ireland!

This week is a quiet week for me. I’ve very little work, and I’m pretty much stuck at home for the days that I’m off–I’m dogsitting for family and can’t go to far with her here. Today was an okay day, I met up with my cousin and we chilled for a while, but then I got myself into a slump for the rest of the afternoon, which is why this here post is going up so late (that, and I got distracted by new episodes of Orange Is The New Black!). I need to find myself a new activity–one that gets me out of the house. Or maybe just a social group or something? I found since I moved here to Navan nearly a year ago at the end of this month, I don’t have as much friends here as I do in Dublin, and because of the distance I don’t get to see them as much as I would like to. I’ll have to look into finding some new friends to hang out with or finding a group/club where people share the same interests as myself, because sitting at home on the computer or watching Netflix is getting awfully boring!

Anyway, that’s it from me for this weeks update. Hopefully things will be a bit more exciting around here this time next week. I’ll see you guys tomorrow! 😉

    1. I *love* photography! Any chance I get I’m taking photos. I know there is a photo club here that meet up but I’m not too sure where exactly, and if I’d be able to get to it (don’t drive, no town bus service) I’ll have to look some more into it 🙂
