The Weekly Word: In Which I Indulge In Christmas Coffees

Welcome one, welcome all to another fine edition of The Weekly Word here on Wee Bit Wordy. For those of you who don’t know, The Weekly Word is my weekly update post, where I let you guys know how my week went.

This week has been mental, work wise. I had all of two days off, which were Thursday and Friday. I haven’t even been active on my social media as much as I would like to, the volume of work has been so hectic. I wish I had much more to share…

On Thursday, I was notified by WordPress that I have been blogging with them for 4 years! That is crazy! I know Dean’z Doodlez, my art blog is only 3, but I ran a little art blog for a short time before that, back when I hadn’t got a clue what I was doing. I was just posting pictures of sketches I drew and putting a few words alongside it… wait-a-minute… I still do that–oh well haha.

As I said, Thursday and Friday were my only two days off this week, so I literally spent them catching up on YouTube videos and my TV shows. Thursday evening I got around to writing a blog post for Friday, which was my Monthly Favourites for the month of October. Click the link if you haven’t read it yet.

Friday, I set off down town to do some little jobs that had to be done. My local Costa Coffee has just launched their Christmas menu so I have been indulging myself in their overpriced diabetes-inducing coffees. I’ve tried the Salted Caramel Cappuccino and the Sticky Toffee Latte. The Salted Caramel cappuccino was a bit of a disappointment, as my normal go-to coffee is a regular caramel cappuccino, and to be honest I couldn’t taste much of a difference (if any) between the two. Next up for me to try isn’t a coffee, but a hot chocolate! I can’t remember the exact name of it, but it was something chocolate and fudge related–so I’m in!

As you probably know, I’m back blogging over on Dean’z Doodlez, my art blog, and I’m really starting to enjoy it again. So far I’m only posting twice a week, keeping things slow for the minute, catching you all up on the few bits I was doing whilst I wasn’t blogging about it. Hopefully once the New Year is here, I’ll get more frequent and may even start daily blogging again (and maybe even here too*spoilers sweety*), but that’s still a little bit away yet, ideas are still forming in my head and nothing is concrete yet. All I will say is: I am very excited for 2016, and think I may even give WBW a facelift, something along the lines of the clean look that I have given Dean’z Doodlez.

That about covers it for this week, so if you’ll excuse me! Until next time 😉

  1. My experience with salted caramel latte was likewise disappointing. I’m back on the wagon of skinny lattes, no flavor. To make them Christmasy, I hum appropriate music while I sip (under my breath, of course..).
