Howdy folks and welcome to the final edition of The Weekly Word for 2015! Can you believe that a year has come and gone already?!? It certainly doesn’t feel like it, that’s for sure!
So how did your Christmas go? I had a lovely day spent with family, eating and drinking my hearts content out. I hope Santa was good to you. I got a brand spanking new tablet, because my old one pretty much is useless to the point where it won’t even connect to the Internet anymore. Anyway, I now have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A, and it is the bee’s knees, I love it. In fact I’m writing this post here on it, it’s that awesome! I got a lot of other goodies too, a popcorn maker and a Doctor Who 2016 calender to name but a few.
But enough about Christmas!
Next Monday’s edition of The Weekly Word is going to be the first of 2016, and I want to make some changes to the way things work around here, and what better way to do that than the New Year, no matter how cliché it may seem.
First I want to do is rearrange the structure that I have to The Weekly Word, add some new bits, and maybe even start setting myself weekly/monthly goals again. I know for a fact that I have a lot more work lined up in the New Year.
I’ve also been keeping a lot of things under my hat this last month, but all will hopefully be revealed in January. These developments will probably affect Dean’z Doodlez mostly, but there will be some work that will resonate over here to WBW too. I can’t wait to share that with you all.
While we have Dean’z Doodlez mentioned, I’m also going to try my best to continue to share daily sketches and illustrations over there. I had a lot of fun doing my #XmasArtChallenge2015 and I’d like to keep that routine of daily uploading a thing, because I really did get a lot of self satisfaction from it. And seeing everyone’s reactions and thoughts on my festive drawings was good fun too!
I spent last month planning a load of blog posts to write and share with you guys here on WBW, but never got around to it because the above challenge plus Christmas shifts in work pretty much took over my life, therefore I have a lot of material I’m looking forward to writing and sharing with you guys over the first few weeks of the New Year, and even leading into February.
I think that about covers it for this, the final Weekly Word of 2015. I can’t wait to start into 2016 with a bright perspective and fresh outlook on things, and a brand new 2016 calender, diary etc (you’d be surprised how satisfying filling in the first page of a new diqry , and marking the first say off a new calender is).
See ya next year! 😉
