The Weekly Word: Furniture Building

Another late Weekly Word post here on WBW, but it’s here none-the-less. I would have had it up earlier, but I spent the majority of last night and today putting together a new chest of drawers for my bedroom. I didn’t have any help, so it took me a little longer than it should have. I’m so glad I got this thing–it’s after freeing half the space in my wardrobe, and I haven’t even half filled it yet, so I can put even more clothes into it if I want to!

This week was pretty hectic. As you know I only got last week’s Weekly Word up on Tuesday. Since then, I haven’t gotten up to too much. On Wednesday I strolled into town and shopped for Mother’s Day gifts (March 6, here in Ireland and the UK). I had to get something for my own mother, my step-mom and my granny. After that I visited my local bookstore and had a coffee and a chat before heading home. That was pretty much it. I have been working since Thursday, and haven’t gotten up to much else other than assembling my newest piece of IKEA furniture.

On Friday I managed to get a new blog post out. It was about “Truthwitch” by Susan Dennard. Check it out if you haven’t already.

I’m hoping to get a few more mosts out in the coming weeks. I have some ideas jotted down in my notebook, it’s just a matter of actually getting around to writing them and posting them. Keep your eyes peeled around the week of St.Patrick’s Day, as I might have an Ireland related blog post or two! 🙂
