It was inevitable folks. I have run out of steam and with that, it means I have failed in completing NanoPoblano/NaBloPoMo 2016. I hear you all crying out, asking all your questions. How? Why? What? … who are you?
My answer is this: blogging everyday is tough. I like to think of this place here somewhere I can go to tell you guys about what’s going on in my life, what books I’m reading, what movies or TV shows I’m watching; but try doing that for 30 days solid and keep your enthusiasm and mojo. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like to share stuff unless I’m happy with it. It got to the stage where I saw the last couple of posts I did share here on WBW didn’t have my usual mojo in them. They were there for the sake of it, for the sake of getting a blog post out, for the sake of saying “I completed NanoPoblano 2016“. No. Just no. That’s not me. I can’t sit here and say I completed NanoPoblano, simply because I don’t have anything to share with you guys right now. I have to admit: it has knocked me for six, and knocked the steam right out of me when it comes to writing here on the blog. So here’s my solution:
Later on today, I have a blog post going live sharing my X-Mas Art Challenge 2016 series I’m going to be running over on my art blog: deankealy.com. While that is on (it will run from December 1-December 25), I am going to take a break from WeeBitWordy. My batteries have run out, and they need to replenish, so that’s exactly what I’m going to let them do. I’ll still be drawing pictures everyday over on deankealy.com, so if you think you’ll miss me, I’ll still be over there. I just need to put this blog aside for a few weeks, and start fresh in the New Year. I’m going to do some messing around, and I’ll probably even give the place a lick of paint while I’m so artistically inclined, change the theme, header etc. OK? OK!
To my Cheer Pepper Peeps: It’s been a blast! While I struggled in the end, you guys are still at it hopefully. Hey, you’ve only 3-4 more days to go, so keep up the good work! I’ll share my X-Mas Art Challenge 2016 blog post to our Cheer Peppers FB group when it goes live, so if you’re also interested you can participate too!
I’ll see you all in the New Year folks! Happy Holidays! 🙂
