Okay, so it looks like I’m doing this! It’s June 2nd, and day 2 of Blogging Everyday In June! I said I’d do it, so I’m doing it!
I had no work today, which was great! I didn’t get up until 11am, had some breakfast and watched some YouTube. I had nothing planned for the day, and felt like some baking, so that’s exactly what I did.
A few weeks ago I made some chocolate chip chocolate cookies. That’s right, chocolate chip chocolate cookies! I had made cookies before but wasn’t happy with the recipe I had been using, so I went in search of a new one, and found one by a YouTuber I follow called Tanya Burr. Tanya not only runs a lifestyle YouTube channel, but also a blog. On her blog she posts recipes of cakes and treats she likes to bake, so I took the recipe there and made the cookies–they were amazing! Find the recipe here!
Because her cookies were so good, I decided to go back onto her blog today, and see if there were any other delectable treats I could make, and so I found her rocky road recipe, which you can also find here!
It was so easy and simple to make, that anyone could do it! I had it all whipped up and in the fridge setting in less than half an hour (after spending another half hour looking for marshmallows)! If you have some free time on your hands, or love to bake, I seriously recommend you try these recipes–but beware, if you are looking for healthy treats then these are a no-go! They’re full of butter, sugar, so much chocolate, seriously, you might end up being a diabetic after eating these!
I haven’t tried this rocky road yet, as you can probably tell from the picture, but I tasted the mixture as I was pouring it into the tin and–oh my gosh, it was divine!
Make sure to check out yesterday’s Weekly Word where I explain my blogging everyday in June! That’s it for today folks, see you guys tomorrow (all going to plan)! 😉
