Hello October!

We’re not just quite into October yet, but I thought better now than never to round-up the month.

I don’t know about you, but I had a very busy month, starting a new course, going on holiday and participating in a blog tour for the fabulous E R Murray!  The new course is going great–lots of new things being learned, new friends being made etc. etc.

Surprisingly though, I seem to have a handle on this blog at long last. For once I’m happy with where I’m at with it, and more than happy to keep it at one post per week, and maybe as we go on, I’ll eventually start changing things up again. I’ve some exciting stuff lined up for the blog, and I’m genuinely looking around for time to do stuff, as well as time to sit down and write about it. I’ve a very special post lined up for next week hopefully, so keep your eyes peeled for that, and some potentially exciting book reviews coming up too!

Because of the course and my job on top of that, I have had to put most of my art projects on the back-burner. I haven’t posted on my art blog in almost 2 months, and it’s probably been that since I opened my sketchbook, too. Halloween is coming up soon, so I’m hoping that I can start drawing again as of the 1st of October. Halloween always has been a very inspiring time of the year for me art wise. I won’t be participating in Inktober this year, but something very similar, so if you want to know more about that, stay tuned to DEANKEALY.COM.

In a way I’m glad September is over. It was terribly hectic (yet ironically relaxing at the same time) and now we’re coming into my favourite month of the year (after December, of course), and I hope you’ll join me and hopefully we can get up to some spooky antics together! Until then 😉
