Books I'm Reading Going Into 2015

Happy New Year people of 2015! This is my first official blog post of 2015 here on Wee Bit Wordy! As I have made reading more part of one of my New Year’s Resolutions, I decided I should make post about the books I am going to into 2015. These books were not released in 2015, these are just the books I have yet to read going into 2015!

  • The Girl With All the Gifts – M. R. Carey

I bought this book in February of 2014 with a voucher I received for my Birthday (Feb. 1), and have yet to read it! I have thought, started reading this book and am about 20-50 pages in, so I can not wait to jump straight back into it!

  • Moriarty – Anthony Horowitz

I am a huge Sherlock Holmes fan! I love the books, all the TV/Movie adaptions, everything! So when I saw this book on the shelves, I immediately snatched it up! I’ve had it about two months now, and its killing me not yet having read it!

  • The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August – Clare North

I can’t remember where I first saw this book. I think it was on Amazon, and had it in my wishlist, but then the following week I saw it in my local bookshop and ended up buying it! I read the blurb and loved the concept/blurb, so make sure to check it out!

  • Jeeves and the Wedding Bells – Sebastian Faulks

I’ve never read a Jeeves book before but I have seen a few episodes of Jeeves and thought I’d give this book a go! I actually borrowed this book from my step-mom as she read this first and thought I would like it. Like I said, I’ve never read a Jeeves book before, or anything by Sebastian Faulks, so I am anticipating this to be a different sort of read, if anything!

  • Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury

Ah… where do I begin on this one… ever since I got an e-reader about 2-3 Christmasses ago, I’ve had this one on my to-read list. I’ve had it qeueing up waiting to be read on my device so long, that I actually deleted it off the e-reader. I decided next time I saw a decent copy in a bookshop I would pick it up, and that I did. The copy I picked up was the 50th Anniversary edition, with the cover image I have placed above, and was reduced from €20.50 down to a mere €9.99! I couldn’t believe it–hardback too! As I’m sure most booklovers know, Fahrenheit 451 is one of Mr Bradbury’s better known books, and is always on the TOP <Insert Number Here< list of whatever genre books! For me, its on my list of books I will eventually read before I die!

As well as all these books, I have a few I have yet to read (or delete) on my e-reader, like The Maze Runner, Divergant, The Shining and Doctor Sleep!

So there are my books I shall be reading at the start of 2015! What are you reading at the minute, and what will you be reading going into the New Year from 2014!

Next week I hope to make a post on some New Release books I a going to be getting in 2015! I had a quick scroll through Amazon earlier and haven’t found/seen anything yet–have you? 🙂

    1. Yeah! I can’t wait to get started on it–currently lamping through Moriarty by Anthony Horowitz and surprisingly enjoying it which is a surprise because I’m not a fan of Horowitz’s work!
